The clash between the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) and the federal government may be resolved as quickly as possible.
Amid the country-wide lockdown caused by the pandemic, COVID-19, ASUU members at the various universities in the country have united to help fasten the eradication of the virus by producing and distributing several protective materials such as hand sanitizers.
Prof. Biodun Ogunyemi disclosed in an interview that the union interestingly understood the dangerous and unstable position the country is presently. It(ASUU) would be open to dialogue in other to settle the unsettled.
This is a symbol of peace-offering and it is most likely federal government heed to it especially on ASUU members withheld salaries and other crisis in the education sector.
