In accord with the ‘phased and gradual easing of lockdown measures,’ the University of Lagos Management has charged all it’s members of staff(at all levels) to stay at home till Monday, May 4, 2020.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the Unilag management said this directive is in line with the order issued by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR. The Management strongly advised its staff and the University community to make use of masks and other subsequent preventive measures.
Members of Staff on essential duties, such as Hostel Porters, Faculty porters, Security, Works and Physical Planning Unit (Power) are notably to follow this directive.
This order is subject to further review and directives by the Government.
